Insert compatible with The Taverns of Tiefenthal®, and the Open Doors® (Zimmer Frei!®) expansion. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilized during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.

The trays are arranged in up to two layers. For the second layer of trays, the larger tiles and dice coasters are stacked at the top end of the box. The two filler trays hold them in place, and also position the boards over the other trays.

The insert includes trays for storing and organizing all of the game components. Each player receives their own player tray with space for all the rooms and other small tiles from the various modules. The card trays are sized so that all cards can be sleeved. 

There are two filler trays for the insert, used to hold the larger game tiles, and also to position the other insert trays and boards in the box. The slots have been sized to fit the game cards should more be added by future expansions.
