Winners of our Pokémon 30th Celebration ETB Giveaway
The wait is finally over, and we are ready to announce the 30 winners of our Pokémon 30th Celebration Giveaway! This is the final part of our community promotions for celebrating Pokémon turning 30 this year. Throughout the summer we did pack hunts in the city and rewarded the fastest scavenger hunters with free packs. On Sept 17, we handed out 600 Knockout Collections between both store locations, but for all of you who are too far away to celebrate with us in person, we knew you were holding out for the ETB giveaway!
Thank you to everyone who made September 16th one of our biggest sales days in history. We had over 1600 qualifying Pokémon orders within 24 hours, and the creatives out there didn’t disappoint either, with a whopping 79 of you sending in hand-drawn art/poems.
We received more art than expected, and the talent and care put into the pieces really moved us. True to our word, though, this was not an art contest, so everyone, from their doodles on Post-it notes to full-color watercolor paintings, was given one entry into the pool. We think we may do a little something extra for pieces voted as staff favourites, and ones we’d love to actually display on our walls! We seriously did not think a lot of people would go through the trouble of mailing in artwork.
Congratulations to our 30 random winners. If you see your name on this list, you should be expecting an email from our customer service team to verify your address:
