Last Sunday, September 20, we welcomed the community to our Vaughan location for the 401 Games Garage Sale!

The Garage Sale officially started at 10 AM, but the excitement began even earlier. Before the event had even started, people were already lining up outside, ready to see what they could find.

It was great to see so many gaming fans show up early and spend their Sunday morning browsing the tables, chatting with other members of the community, and, of course, hunting for a good deal.

And with so much to look through, there was plenty of hunting to do!

The Early Birds Were Ready

One thing was clear from the beginning: some of you were serious about Garage Sale day!

Seeing a line already forming before the 10 AM start was a great way to begin the morning. Once the event got underway, the tables quickly filled with people looking through games and comparing their finds.

If there's one lesson to take from a Garage Sale like this, it's that arriving early definitely gives you more time to explore. But it's also worth slowing down and taking a good look through the tables. Part of the experience is finding something you might have completely missed at first glance.

Our Garage Sale strategy? Come curious, take your time, and don't be afraid to dig a little.

More Than Just Board Games

Board games were a big part of the Garage Sale, with plenty of titles waiting to find a new home, but they weren't the only things on the tables.

There were also binders, card sleeves, RPG books, and plenty of other gaming finds to look through. Some items were easy to spot right away, while others required a little more digging.

That was part of the fun. Instead of walking in knowing exactly what you were going to leave with, you could take your time going through the tables and see what caught your attention.

Some people arrived with a particular type of game or item in mind, while others simply browsed and waited for something interesting to stand out. With different items spread across the tables, you never really knew what you might find next.

Games, Hot Dogs and a Perfect Sunday

The Garage Sale wasn't only about shopping.

We also had juice and watermelon available for everyone, and perhaps the best bonus of the day: free hot dogs!

Our team was there early getting everything ready before the event started, from setting up the tables to preparing the food and making sure we were ready to welcome everyone.

As the day continued, it became more than just a place to look for deals. People could grab something to eat, spend some time outside, talk about games, and enjoy the Sunday with other members of the community.

And we really couldn't have asked for better weather. It wasn't too hot or too cold, and most importantly, no rain! With summer coming to an end, it felt like a pretty good way to enjoy one of the last warm Sundays of the season.
