Cyberpunk TCG Beginner’s Guide: How to Play the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game
If you’re a fan of Cyberpunk 2077 and already know your way around a TCG (trading card game), the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game (Cyberpunk TCG) lets you build your crew, play iconic characters, and battle for control of Night City. This Cyberpunk TCG beginner’s guide covers the card types, key game mechanics, decks, Gigs, Eddies, Street Cred, and deckbuilding to get you ready to hit the streets.
Here's what you need to know about the newest card game we're carrying. Available now!

Choose Your Crew: Arasaka or Mercs
New to Cyberpunk TCG? Two demo decks give you an easy way to jump into the game and experience different sides of Night City.
Embracing Power puts you on the corporate side with Arasaka, while The Heist lets you play as Mercs taking jobs and making their name on the streets. If you’re already a Cyberpunk fan, these decks are a great introduction to the game’s world and mechanics.

How Do You Win?
Instead of reducing your opponent’s health to zero, Gigs are at the heart of Cyberpunk TCG. Gigs are represented by dice, and you gain a new Gig from your Fixer at the beginning of each turn.
Attack your Rival’s Gig area to steal their Gigs while protecting your own. Start your turn with 7 Gigs and you win the game. Your Gig values also contribute to Street Cred, which unlocks effects on certain cards.
Cyberpunk TCG Card Types
There are four main card types:
Legends are the centerpiece of your deck. You use exactly three, and they determine your deck’s RAM limits.
Units are your crew. They fight opposing Units and attack your Rival’s Gig area.
Programs provide one-time effects that can disrupt your Rival or give your crew an advantage before going to the Trash.
Gear equips your Units and Legends with additional abilities and advantages.

Eddies & Key Game Mechanics
Eddies (€$) are your primary resource. Rather than using a traditional mana system, you can sell cards from your hand to generate Eddies. Every card becomes a strategic decision: play it, or turn it into cash?
You’ll also encounter familiar TCG concepts like Ready and Spent cards. Units enter play with Lag, preventing them from attacking immediately. Keywords such as Adrenaline, Quick, and Blocker add further tactical options.
Building Your Cyberpunk TCG Deck
Your deck contains 40–50 cards plus exactly three Legends, with a maximum of three copies of each individual card. Your Legends determine your RAM limits, influencing which cards and colors you can include.
Whether you’re an experienced TCG player or a Cyberpunk fan looking for a new way to explore Night City, the strategy comes from building the right crew, managing your Eddies, and knowing when to make your move.
Choose your side. Build your crew. Make your legend.
