The brush tip allows you to paint easily as you want! Made with high-quality Japanese synthetic fibers
● A brush that embodies the attention to detail that goes into model painting!
"Kamifude" is a delicate brush, with each individual bristle crafted by a brush craftsman who specializes in synthetic hair.
Unlike typical synthetic fiber brushes, the bristles do not dry out or break easily, so you can always maintain the comfort of using the brush as if it were freshly grated.
The "flat brush" has a small, flat tip.
It is useful for painting figure clothes and small-scale mecha.
The bristles are made of pure Japanese synthetic bristles (PBT) that are also designed to be strong.
The brushes themselves are also made by Japanese brush craftsmen who specialize in artificial hair, and each brush is made by hand.
When animal hair brushes are immersed in solvents, the hair tends to get damaged, break off, or become brittle, but Kamifuji's hair is made of PBT bristles that are resistant to solvents, so it is less likely to get damaged.
The glue that holds the brush tip in place is also solvent-resistant, so the brush tip will stay in good condition for a long time.
The stiffness has been adjusted to make it easier to paint models with a brush, so the tip is more flexible than that of typical synthetic fiber brushes.
We have a variety of brush tip shapes so you can use them according to the painting situation.
If the brush tip is too short, the paint will not absorb as much water, causing it to dry out quickly.
For this reason, we design the length of the brush tip to strike a balance between ease of drawing and water absorption.
The specially processed PBT bristles allow even bent bristles to be restored to their original straight tip by using hot water of 90°C or higher.
Comes with a dedicated aluminum cap for easy storage and carrying
How to fix a brush with bent bristles:
Remove any dirt from the brush before soaking it in hot water.
*Be careful not to get burned as the water used is over 90℃.
1. Fill a heat-resistant container with hot water of 90°C or higher and immerse the tip of the bent brush for around 10 seconds.
2. Use the wall of the container with hot water to straighten the bent part of the bristles.
3. Pull the brush up along the wall while maintaining the straightness.
4. Check that the base of the brush you pulled up is straight, then let it dry and you're done.
*If the bristles have reached the end of their life, they may not be able to be straightened.
*Please note that if the hot water becomes lukewarm during the process, the brush will not be able to be straightened properly.
