Note: This product is intended for a box size of 29.7 x 29.7 x 10.0 cm. Note this is our revised insert for Tapestry; the original insert FS-TAPE.
Official full colour insert compatible with Tapestry®, including the Plans & Ploys®, Arts & Architecture® and Fantasies & Futures® expansions. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The boards and rulebooks act as a lid on top of the trays.
The insert is arranged in two layers, with space on one side for the civilization and capital city mats.
The building trays have two assembly variants depending upon whether you own snap on building bases. More on this below and attached are two dry assembly video guides.
The insert uses a beige foam which matches well with the colour designs from the game. The card trays all have space for sleeved cards. In this assembly variant (without the snap on bases) the buildings are all separated by type.
Each player receives their own player tray, and the territory tiles tray can be used to randomly dispense these face down tiles instead of using the bag from the expansion.
The images show the trays without the game components inside so that you can see the colour print designs. Every tray includes images from the rulebook or game cards and boards. The player trays have a colour terrain theme on the outside to match the player pieces inside.
The images greatly improve the look of the trays, but also help in game clear up as you can instantly see what goes where.
Once the insert trays are packed into the box you need to place the city and civilization mats in a stack on top of the player trays. Next place the main game board on top of everything. The smaller boards and bag are added as shown. Lastly place the rulebooks and reference guides on top of everything. Once fully loaded the box is filled to the top, allowing for vertical storage.
If you own the snap on bases for your buildings it is best to use the second variant assembly option for the building trays. The snap on bases increase the sizes of the buildings so that there is less organization possible in this variant. You still split the types of buildings, but there is more grouping than in variant one.
