Note: Insert designed for either the Kickstarter edition with external box dimensions of 22.8 x 32.0 x 6.3 cm, or for the retail edition with external box dimensions of 22.4 x 31.6 x 6.1 cm. Note that when used in the retail edition there is a very small amount of lid lift of 3mm.
Official full colour insert compatible with Autobahn®. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.
The trays are arranged in up to two layers. Note that the smaller boards are stacked vertically at one end of the box.
The insert works equally well with either the Kickstarter or retail editions of the game.
Each player receives their own player tray for their tokens and counters, as well as their basic action cards. There is space for all cards to be sleeved.
The images show the trays without the game components inside so that you can see the colour print designs. Every tray includes images from the rulebook or game cards and boards. Each player tray has a scene from the game board in the player colour.
The images greatly improve the look of the trays, but also help in game clear up as you can instantly see what goes where.
When packing the box, first place the smaller boards vertically at one end of the box. Next place the main game board followed by the remaining larger boards. Lastly add the rule book. This fully fills the box without any lid lift and allows for vertical storage of the game.
