Looking to learn Magic: The Gathering but don't have a deck or experience? Come to 401 Game Downtown for our MTG Beginner's Night and jumpstart your journey as a Planeswalker!

Start Time: 6:15 PM

Capacity: 16 Planeswalkers

Format: Casual, Sealed (players must use the provided packs)

Event Structure: 

• Each player will receive 2 Jumpstart packs from which to build a deck.
• Players will have 30 minutes to read and learn their cards, and then may begin play with any opponent of their choosing.
• 50 minutes rounds
• Best of 3
• Non-competitive (play to learn!)

Players are encouraged to help each other understand the game and our Magic-playing staff will be around to also help assist. Players are expected to be independent in their learning overall, but we're always happy to help! Players can take home the cards they open to start their MTG journey!

Note:

All "tickets" are sold ONLINE. Players must purchase a ticket through the 401 Games portal to participate.

If no "tickets" are available for purchase - Sign up for the RESTOCK NOTIFICATION to be emailed when extra tickets go live.

If you are running LATE to a paid event and have not contacted the event staff 15 MINUTES prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your spot and no refund will be given.

If you are unable to attend an event and would like to cancel, contact the event desk with 24 HOURS of the event to receive a refund. 

All refunds will be given as GIFT CARD.
