Anti-Tank Obstacles
Fast-moving reliable tanks were becoming bigger in numbers which means there had to be ways to slow them down. As huge blocks of steel core concrete, these were heavy and robust enough to prevent the enemy making their way through the battlefields.
There was also the importance of stopping infantry troops which meant wooden and steel frames covered in barbed wire were used. These would stop the majority of the crowd, with the last few determined soldiers who would chance the danger.
