With five suits of thirteen cards each, two Star Lord cards, and the rules booklet, this deck shakes up Initiative as you've never seen it before!
This five-suited deck may also be used as a regular card deck, whittled down to any four regular suits (or try a five-suit game!)
Enhance your battlefield tactics by substituting the Initiative Deck for the standard Initiative roll. Poor initiative position awards stronger strategic and tactical opportunities which can make up for "bad luck."
The 67 cards are made up of:
5 suits of 13 cards each, being one for each of the Successor States, including:
- Dragons (Draconis Combine);
- Eagles (Free Worlds League);
- Fists (Lyran Commonwealth;
- Sunbursts (Federated Suns); and
- Swords (Capellan Confederation).
2 Star Lord Cards (ComStar).
Each of the suits has 9 cards numbered 2 to 10, three "court" cards (a MechWarrior, Duke and Successor Lord) and an Ace.
