Design Your Destiny: Running Out of Time (Pre-Order)
$37.95 CAD
Number of Players: 1-2 Playing Time: 20+ Minutes Recommended Ages: 8+ Read a fictional story about Charlie and Natalie as they are whisked away to the future to try to stop the invention of time travel itself! Every couple of chapters you get to play as Charlie and Natalie in a game where you help them progress through the story. Unfortunately, each game is broken and needs your help to fix it. The next few pages after a game will guide you on ways you can fix the game, but you are given complete freedom to fix it however you want. Each task you complete earns you a sticker that helps put the time machine back together. If you complete enough tasks and fix the time machine, then you unlock the final chapter to see how the story ends. It's a sci-fi story but also a game design tutorial that's great for kids or for people just getting into game design.

The Witcher: Old World
$86.95 CAD
In The Witcher: Old World, you become a witcher — a professional monster slayer — and immerse yourself in the legendary universe of The Witcher franchise. Set years before the saga of Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher: Old World explores a time when monsters roamed the Continent in greater numbers, creating a constant peril that required the attention of expertly trained monster slayers, known as witchers. Five competing schools trained their adepts through brutal regimes, and once fully prepared, these now-recognized witchers set off to explore the land, seeking trouble and adventures and helping others for coin. In this competitive adventure board game, 2-5 players travel across a vast map, embarking on masterfully penned quests, encountering and making ambiguous moral choices, fighting monsters — and sometimes brawling with other witchers to defend their school's honor! The game lets players construct their own unique decks of cards by choosing from a wide range of abilities: attacks, dodges, and witcher combat magic — known as "signs". Through card synergy, players aim to achieve powerful combos as they utilize their witcher school's hallmark abilities to their full potential. Quests, battles, and even dice poker allow each player to earn money, obtain new items, and train their skills. The first player to acquire 4-6 trophies, with the number being set at the start of play, wins the game instantly. You can obtain trophies by killing monsters, instigating and winning chaotic tavern brawls against another witcher, training attributes to their highest level, and resolving certain quests throughout their adventure. The game will include a Solo Mode that will allow for a solitaire adventure on the Continent.

Two centuries after the outlaw Erik the Red had misnamed this treeless ice-covered island "Greenland", ten emaciated Norsemen clambered out of a rowboat and onto the pack ice. The clubsmen expected to harvest the first available meat of the year, but instead they found only a volley of Thule arrows. The Skrælings (the Thule and Tunit tribes) have superior numbers and Arctic survival skills. And if the Thule kill off the Norse and Tunit, they will rule Greenland alone.

Pax Viking
$39.96 CAD
$49.95 CAD
Number of Players: 1-6
Playing Time: 60-90 Minutes
Recommended Ages: 14+
Entry level Pax game - easy to learn for families and those new to the Pax series.
Pax Viking is a strategic, historical game for 1-6 players aged 12 and up about the lesser know Vikings that travelled eastwards. These adventurers and explorers primarily came from Sweden and were for most parts merchants: skillful opportunists when it came to the use of both shining silver and sharpened steel.
Pax Viking is a tile driven game where you compete over cards in a common market in combination with strategic movement of longships on the map. You can play cards you buy on map locations you control through your longships; create trading posts, claim benefits from events and more. You can also play cards on your jarlboard, adding abilities to your player through friends, allies and gods. In the east you explore and develop the regions and trade routes. In the west you can find powerful allies and gods to help you. Through your actions you collect followers to give you power and influence for your final bid: to be the first king of Sweden.

Pax Transhumanity
$39.95 CAD
Number of Players: 1-4
Playing Time: 60-150 Minutes
Recommended Ages: 12+
Represent an entrepreneur of the near-future and solve the challenges of humanity in Pax Transhumanity.
In the game designer Matt Eklund's own words: Pax Transhumanityis a game about idea development in a non-dystopian near future. In traditional Pax-style, the players have access to a marketplace of ideas to compete over.
Unlike other Pax games, there are no hands or tableaux in the traditional sense. The players’ goal is to invest in viable ideas and use infrastructure to release them to the world. Once an idea is commercialized it becomes part of the human progress splay, becoming part of human history and making other ideas viable. It will also likely generate growth (new cubes), solve humanitarian problems (VP chits), or break down barriers (place company disks).

Bios: Origins
$79.95 CAD
Number of Players: 1-4
Playing Time: 90-120 Minutes
Recommended Ages: 12+
Represent an intelligent species developing technologies, economics, politics, and consciousness in Bios:Origins Second Edition. This is the 3rd and final game of the Bios trilogy.
We have reworked the game Origins from ground up, keeping its bottom-up take on civilization games, but with new features to integrate it with the arc from the predecessor games Bios:Genesis and Bios:Megafauna (second edition). The old Origins had dice, these are gone, but the classic map is retained.
Bios:Origins include 2 maps. One traditional Earth map and one more empty ocean map. New is a hexgrid, found on the back of the map board, for building custom maps. This can be used to to create custom maps using the punch out hexes included in Bios:Origins or recreate the cratons from an end state of Bios:Megafauna (second edition) if you are playing a trilogy campaign game.
The empty ocean map can be used in your Bios:Megafauna game too if you want, while playing that.
The cards have been sorted in categories of Culture, Politics, and Industry, and a Market has been added. Designers: Phil Eklund Jon Manker.

Pax Emancipation
$44.95 CAD
Number of Players: 1-3
Playing Time: 60-120 Minutes
Recommended Ages: 12+
The 7 wonders of the great civilizations were built by slave-power, and societies' need to enslave weaker neighbors went unquestioned for millennia. Until the day an audacious petition was sent to Parliament, not just to end slavery in England, but throughout the entire world! In this game, you assume the role of an abolitionist during the Age of Enlightenment, either a Parliamentarian, an evangelical, or a private philanthropist. Assign warships to blockade slave ports or intercept slave ships, install missions, trading posts, and colonies in foreign lands steeped in serfdom, challenge the institution of slavery on moral and legal grounds in courts, and sanction underground railroads, slave revolts and revolutions. Play in cooperative-competitive, cooperative, or solitaire modes. If victorious, you achieve the greatest political accomplishment in history: making slavery everywhere illegal.

Bios: Genesis
$38.95 CAD
Number of Players: 1-4
Playing Time: 60-120 Minutes
Recommended Ages: 12+
In Bios: Genesis, one to four players start as organic compounds shortly after Earth's formation, represented by up to three Biont tokens. The Amino Acids command Metabolism, the lipids create cells, the pigments control energy absorption and storage, and the nucleic acids control templated replication. Their goal is a double origin of life: first as Autocatalytic Life (a metabolic cycle reproducing, yet not replicating, its own constituents), and the second as Darwinian Life (an Organism using a template to replicate in an RNA world). Players can play cooperative, competitive, or solitaire.
How to play
Each turn an event card is flipped, and catastrophes are resolved from left to right, determining the climate, stripping cubes from organisms and refugia placards, and creating new landforms that can harbor life. Any organisms which lose all of their cubes go extinct. The Event cards also dictate turn order and which refugia and mutation card piles are active at that turn.
Contents:
16 Refugia placards
Tokens

Ion - A Compound Building Game - 2nd Edition
$17.95 CAD
$24.95 CAD
Number of Players: 2-7Playing Time: 20-30 MinutesRecommended Ages: 8+
Ion: A Compound Building Game is a simple card drafting game where players select from a number of available ion cards and noble gas cards, with the objective of forming either neutrally charged compounds or sets of stable noble gases.
Each player is initially dealt eight cards. They choose one card and pass the remaining to the player on their left, while they receive the same amount of cards from the player on their right (this is commonly referred to as “card drafting” or “pick and pass”).
Selected cards must be either (1) bonded to another ion or (2) set alone. Players only score points for neutrally balanced cards. So a positive charged Sodium (Na+) bonding with a negatively charge Chloride (Cl-), forming a neutral NaCl compound, would score points.
Points are scored at the end of each round and player may gain additional points for building specific compounds listed on the goal cards for that round. After three rounds the player with the most points wins!

Brass: Birmingham
$79.95 CAD
Brass: Birmingham is an economic strategy game sequel to Martin Wallace' 2007 masterpiece, Brass. Birmingham tells the story of competing entrepreneurs in Birmingham during the industrial revolution, between the years of 1770-1870.
As in its predecessor, you must develop, build, and establish your industries and network, in an effort to exploit low or high market demands.
Each round, players take turns according to the turn order track, receiving two actions to perform any of the following actions (found in the original game):
1) Build - Pay required resources and place an industry tile. 2) Network - Add a rail / canal link, expanding your network. 3) Develop - Increase the VP value of an industry. 4) Sell - Sell your cotton, manufactured goods and pottery. 5) Loan - Take a £30 loan and reduce your income.
Brass: Birmingham also features a new sixth action:
6) Scout - Discard three cards and take a wild location and wild industry card. (This action replaces Double Action Build in original Brass.)
The game is played over two halves: the canal era (years 1770-1830) and the rail era (years 1830-1870). To win the game, score the most VPs. VPs are counted at the end of each half for the canals, rails and established (flipped) industry tiles.
Birmingham features dynamic scoring canals/rails. Instead of each flipped industry tile giving a static 1 VP to all connected canals and rails, many industries give 0 or even 2 VPs. This provides players with the opportunity to score much higher value canals in the first era, and creates interesting strategy with industry placement.
Iron, coal, and cotton are three industries which appear in both the original Brass as well as in Brass: Birmingham.
New "Sell" system
Brewing has become a fundamental part of the culture in Birmingham. You must now sell your product through traders located around the edges of the board. Each of these traders is looking for a specific type of good each game. To sell cotton, pottery, or manufactured goods to these traders, you must also "greas
