    Hi There,

    • We are now seeing very long delays with Canada Post processing and scanning orders. This includes long periods of time showing that only a label has been created by the shipper and long periods of time in between its update scans denoting where the parcel is. We ask for your patience as Canada Post continues to deal with their backlog of parcels. Due to these delays, we cannot provide you with an accurate estimate as to how long an order will take to reach your address. If your tracking appears invalid it simply means Canada Post has not processed that parcel yet. Customers who have experienced similar delays or shared the same concerns about their parcel not showing movement have reported that their order did eventually arrive. Thanks for your patience and please continue reading the below for more information regarding delays and changes to Canada Posts delivery methods.
    • 401 Games is seeing a very high increase in our online order volume. We are doing our best to adapt to this new average volume and greatly value your support and patience as we work our way through your orders as quickly as possible, from oldest to newest, while also being as safe as possible. We take the health and safety of our staff and customers seriously, so the extra time needed to work and pack safely and as per recommendations of health officials is our first priority. We apologize for any delay or inconvenience.
    • At this time we are not accepting requests to merge orders, hold orders or make modifications to orders in order to maintain efficiencies in our work flow.

Canada Post has also issued a notice that they are no longer offering guaranteed delivery dates or signature options.

Canada Post "Drop, Knock & Go" Update:
"Parcel Delivery: To eliminate customer interactions at the door, reduce post office customer traffic and support social & physical distancing, we have implemented a Knock, Drop and Go approach. Delivery employees will knock or ring, choose the safest location available to leave the item and then depart for the next address. This change eliminates the need for signatures at the door and greatly reduces the number of parcels sent to our post offices for pick-up.

Items that require Proof of Age, ID or Customs payments will be sent directly from our depots to a retail post office for pick-up with no restrictions on when customers can pick up the item. Customers will receive a Delivery Notice Card in their mail letting them know which post office is holding their item for pickup.

Service guarantees: Our goal is to continue providing timely and reliable service. But to be safe, give our people time and manage potential challenges, we have suspended on On-time Delivery Guarantees for all parcel services, until further notice."
